I interviewed My moms broker Cynthia Rodriguez and she gave great information on the career of being a real estate agent/broker. To start off she told me the most interesting and challenging part of the career. She stated that the most challenging part is when you show a client a 1000 houses doesnt pick decide on a house, she also said the most interesting part of the job is that there are so many different aspects of real estate you never get bored also saying she loves what she does and been doing it for 17 years. I asked her some skills you need and she told me some traits like having a great personality, patience, hustler, go getter, etc. She told me a couple of benefits but the main one she emphasized is time, reason being because you work on your own schedule and take a lot of vacations with good money. I asked her how did she grow during her tenure, she told me she had to learn how to be patient and love the challenges the market brings. I asked about the average yearly salary and said it can range from $90k-$130k depends on how the market looks. And the last question I asked was how the environment feels and she told me that it always so changing she also told me that there are a bunch of great entrepreneurs working on the same thing.
